Brian W. Foddrill

Attorney & Mediator

Meet Brian W. Foddrill, a graduate of Drake University

Law School and an accomplished attorney and mediator

with a unique blend of directness and dedication.

Specializing in family law, mediation, real estate, and estate

planning, Brian is not just a legal professional but a family

man with a passion for life.

Brian began his legal career as a proud owner of Foddrill

Law Firm in Ankeny, Iowa, and in 2019 acquired Stillman

Law Firm in Clear Lake, Iowa. Brian has continued his

commitment to families in the State of Iowa by rebranding

his new approach to legal matters into Unbundled Legal

Services of Iowa.

Having experienced divorce personally, Brian understands the

significance of having a supportive advocate by your side.

The impact of divorce extends to every facet of one's life, affecting

finances and emotional well-being. Beyond the emotional aspect

of a marriage ending, there's the looming fear of an uncertain

future – financial struggles, concerns about the well-being of

children, the quest for personal happiness, and the worry about

societal perceptions. These emotions can be overwhelming.

Because of that, Brian's approach to legal matters is marked by a straightforward nature, no-nonsense approach, assertiveness, fairness, and a deep commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for his clients. He values the trust placed in him and handles sensitive legal issues with complete discretion, ensuring confidentiality.

In addition to his legal endeavors, Brian is deeply involved in the real property profession, contributing to the development of central Iowa for over 25 years. His diverse experiences, from being a carpenter to a custom homebuilder to REALTOR®, add a personal touch to his understanding of real estate.

Beyond the courtroom and real estate, Brian is a family man with six children, including three stepchildren. He finds joy in spending quality time with his wife, Kristian, and their children. Their shared interests include camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, competitive shooting, football, baseball, and attending rodeos.

His involvement in local, state, and national associations underscores his commitment to staying abreast of industry developments and community involvement. He serves as a coach and on the Board of Directors for the Ballard Clay Bombers trap shooting team, as a member of the City of Clear Lake Planning & Zoning Committee, and more, showcasing his dedication to giving back to the communities he loves.

With an emphasis on family and a genuine love for the activities that bring joy to his life, Brian W. Foddrill stands out not just as an attorney but as a compassionate, family-oriented individual making a positive impact in both the legal and personal spheres.
